About the Role
As a Quality Engineer at NTM Engineering in Beijing, you make automotive quality happen where it actually counts: on the shop floor and at the supplier's gate. Working across German OEM and local manufacturer projects, you operate Quality Confirmation Center (QCC) checks, control and rework, conduct supplier audits, and drive corrective actions through to verified closure. Quality here is not a report written after the fact — it is a daily, hands-on discipline that decides whether a vehicle is fit to ship.
When something goes wrong, you lead the root-cause analysis using structured methods such as 8D and Ishikawa, contain the issue fast, and make sure the fix actually holds in series. You document and report at OEM audit level, and you act as a credible quality counterpart to both German OEMs and Chinese manufacturers — translating standards, expectations and engineering reality between the two worlds.
Knowledge of VDA 6.3 and ISO 9001 is your toolkit, and supplier quality management is part of your everyday language. But what makes you effective at NTM is a hands-on, shop-floor mentality: you are comfortable at the line and at the supplier site, you ask the uncomfortable questions, and you stay until the problem is genuinely solved.
This role is built for a quality engineer with several years of automotive experience at an OEM, joint venture or Tier-1, who wants ownership and direct client contact rather than a desk far from the product. Chinese and English working proficiency keep you effective across teams in Beijing; German is a welcome plus.

Your Profile
- 3+ years in automotive quality at OEM, JV or Tier-1
- Knowledge of VDA 6.3 / ISO 9001 standards
- Chinese and English working proficiency; German a plus
- Hands-on shop floor mentality
