About the Role
As a Quality Engineer for launch and ramp-up support at NTM Engineering in Hefei, you work at the point where automotive quality is genuinely won or lost: the start of production. You support SOP and ramp-up phases at plant level, running shop-floor quality management through the most intense and unforgiving stage of any vehicle program.
Your responsibilities cover launch-readiness checks and maturity validation, control and rework coordination, and supplier escalation with corrective-action follow-up driven to closure. During ramp-up, problems appear faster than anywhere else in the lifecycle — and you are the person who keeps quality stable while volumes climb, balancing speed and standards without letting either slip.
You bring structured problem-solving — 8D, Ishikawa and disciplined root-cause analysis — together with a hands-on, shop-floor mentality. You are comfortable on the line, at the supplier and in the escalation meeting, and you stay calm when a launch is under pressure. Working in Hefei, one of China's fastest-growing automotive and NEV manufacturing centres, you are close to the action on real ramp-up programs.
This role suits a quality engineer with 3+ years in launch or plant quality. Chinese is essential for effective work on the shop floor here; English or German is a strong plus for collaborating with our European partners and OEM clients.
