About the Role
As a Senior Quality Engineer at NTM Engineering in Shanghai, you take the lead on automotive quality across OEM and joint-venture (JV) programs in and around the Shanghai and Anting automotive cluster — one of the densest concentrations of vehicle development in the world. You own the quality topics that matter most and represent NTM as a senior, credible counterpart to demanding OEM and JV quality departments.
Your scope runs from QCC operations and quality gates to supplier-quality development and VDA 6.3 audits. You set standards, lead escalations and make the calls that keep programs on track, working at the level where quality strategy meets shop-floor reality. You are the person OEM and JV quality departments call when something important is at stake.
Leadership is a core part of this role, not an add-on. You coach junior quality engineers, set the standard for how the team works, and raise the overall quality capability of everyone around you. Because NTM runs on short decision paths and direct founder access, your seniority translates directly into influence and ownership.
This is a senior, on-site leadership position for someone with 7+ years of automotive quality experience at an OEM or Tier-1. A VDA 6.3 auditor qualification and bilingual Chinese/English are strong advantages, and proven leadership experience in quality teams is exactly what we are looking for. German is a welcome plus.

Your Profile
- 7+ years in automotive quality at OEM or Tier-1
- VDA 6.3 auditor qualification a plus
