About the Role
As a Test Driver at NTM Engineering in the Hefei region, you drive test and prototype vehicles on road and proving-ground programs for new-energy-vehicle (NEV) manufacturers and German-Chinese joint-venture development projects. You carry out road and proving-ground drives strictly to the test plan, in one of China's most active automotive development regions.
Precision is the point. You document findings and anomalies exactly as they happen, support measurement equipment and data logging during the drive, and keep the vehicles prepared, clean and cared for between sessions. Your observations become part of the engineering record, so a careful, consistent and attentive approach matters every single day — far more than raw speed.
These vehicles are part of confidential development programs, which makes reliable, discreet handling of prototypes a must, not a nice-to-have. You will be trusted with cars that are not yet public, and that trust is the foundation of the role.
This position suits a driver with a valid Chinese driving licence and a clean record; proving-ground driving experience is a clear plus. You should be based in Hefei or willing to relocate to be close to the programs at the heart of China's NEV manufacturing landscape.
