Design digital interfaces and experiences for NTM Engineering and our OEM clients — from HMI concepts to internal tools and client-facing dashboards.
As a UI/UX Designer at NTM Engineering in Beijing, you design the digital interfaces and experiences that represent us and our OEM clients — from automotive HMI concepts to internal engineering tools and client-facing dashboards. You are the one designer who bridges German design precision and Chinese UX expectations, both visually and structurally, in a company where automotive engineering and digital product design meet.
Your work spans the full UI/UX process: research, wireframes, interactive prototypes and maintainable design systems for web, HMI and internal tools. You own the NTM brand identity across every touchpoint and make sure that a dashboard built for an OEM in Germany and an interface used by a team in Beijing both feel right to their users — even though those users expect very different things.
You collaborate closely with the engineering team on technical feasibility, balancing what looks good with what can actually be built and shipped. Because decision paths at NTM are short, your design proposals don't disappear into committees — they get discussed, decided and implemented quickly, and your craft directly shapes how the company is perceived.
The best candidates bring 3+ years in UI/UX design (ideally in automotive or B2B tech), a strong portfolio spanning both web and product work, fluency in Figma and design systems, and a real understanding of Chinese digital platforms and user behaviour. Bilingual Chinese/English is strongly preferred for a role that lives, by definition, between two markets.
