About the Role
As a Vehicle Integration Engineer at NTM Engineering in the Shanghai/Anting area, you support vehicle integration and prototype activities on joint-venture (JV) platform programs at the centre of China's automotive industry. You work hands-on where design becomes hardware — turning concepts, components and software into prototype vehicles that can actually be tested and validated.
Day to day, you support prototype integration and build-up, assist with vehicle testing on JV platforms, interface with JV engineering departments, and keep integration documentation and reporting clean, accurate and current. You sit close to the platform programs that shape the next generation of vehicles, with enough variety to keep the work interesting and enough ownership to make it yours.
Because you operate on-site and within a JV environment, you become the practical link between integration work on the ground and the engineering departments that depend on it. Clear documentation and reliable reporting are part of how you build trust and keep complex programs moving.
This role suits an engineer with 3+ years in vehicle integration or testing, ideally with joint-venture exposure. Working Chinese and English are essential for effective collaboration; German is a welcome plus. You should be based in Shanghai or willing to relocate to be close to one of the world's most important automotive development hubs.
